@blindedguilt :: LEONARD
【They all had to have been tired. Even though it took so much to render himself exhausted, the fallen prince felt weariness threaten to envelop his every bone. And yet he felt restless despite this. It was certainly his own fury at work, pushing at his limbs, urging him to get up and do something. He had been nearly lost in his bloodlust, that high nothing else provided. And for what? To appease a plea. To get dragged half across the expanse of the Crimson Mountains. To waste so much time as the third seal shattered. Why did they bring that boy with them anyway...
All he could do was glare. A bit of dirt kicked into one of the camp’s lit fires. There was no regret; he had told the child— through the voice of his pact beast— that it was for fools. But anger... That was what drove him through the throngs of fatigued footsoldiers, dark blues scanning the faces, the heads that he passed. The blame for appeasing their new “ally” had to be placed upon someone. The elf, mad and babbling, was only safe from his rising ire as she was holed up within one of the tents and out of sight. For his own luck, that bumbling Hierarch was the same. Very nearly did he decide to settle upon the next Union fighter he’d catch eyes with but a head of blond was seen. Leonard. He’d do. That piddling hermit already placed enough blame upon his own shoulders, what was one more to add to that load? With purposeful steps did Caim make his approach. A leg raised, said limb jutting out for his heel to strike one such shoulder.】

Leonard wore an expression of worry far deeper than his usual as he meandered his way back to the mercenary, seemingly unable to know what to do with himself at the sudden change in temperaments between the two. Just as the Goddess's presence had grown vengeful and raged, Caim's, he had noticed as he drew closer, seemed... Frightened. Frightened, yet peaceful, in a way. Leonard began to wonder if his stepping forth was in the middle of a growing rage he was about to boil over, the thought of it causing him to stop a few steps short.
"Caim, your sister..." He began. How could he say it? "...The Goddess seems to be ill at ease. Perhaps, as her brother, yours would be the best place to placate her anger. Not only as a protector of the Goddess, but as the last of her kin. I am sure that your presence will serve to be a great comfort to her."
...They both seem ill at ease, his intuition (and pact-beast, though far less politely put) spoke to him. If he were being completely honest, it felt unnatural to the extent that he was hesitant to even speak of it — Though that fear was only great enough to have kept him from addressing it in the older of the two siblings and none other.
Furiae looked up when she heard her brother’s name and stared at Leonard. She took a moment to remember the circumstance she found herself in. She couldn’t help but frown up. It made a bit too much sense that Caim would be in her place. She felt awful about it since the pain of the seal was something she’d wish upon someone she hated.
Furiae was at a loss over Leonard’s suggestion. She did not want her brother to suffer what she did but what could she possibly do? She knew that only she was eased by Caim’s presence but what if she could not do the same for him? What if he didn’t know it was her and he only got angry with her? Furiae couldn’t take it if Caim hated her for any reason... She didn’t wish to see her own body without a mirror’s glass reflecting it as it would feel too strange. What could she do?

This has been happening for years and they knew not of a cure? Nor even the origin of it? That was...strange, even to the Intoner, so she couldn’t help but be left to wonder while resting a few clawed fingers upon her chin, deep in thought.
Well, perhaps that just made it even more interesting for her- there was more to investigate if no one before has solved the mystery of this disease.
Although, she had to admit those shining red eyes reminded her of her sister One. Truly, that kind of eye color wasn’t normal among humans.
“I see...I don’t really know yet what that Empire or Union are...but it seems I am immune to that disease...” A content huff left her lips. Honestly, she was an Intoner, so she didn’t sound all that surprised of that small fact. If anything, it was to make the human in front of her to worry less about her.
In fact, Three didn’t even sound scared of what the Empire could do. A soft laugh is all that could be heard coming from her for a moment, all before her weapons opened and closed, letting the click-clack be more than noticeable.
“Humans are easy to rule over...” She decided to add that in a soft voice, before she laughed again and took a step closer to Leonard- the one the man took earlier to get away from her instead.
What the other said had her frowning softly. She was aware this wasn’t her time, yet, she still felt somewhat protective of the forests, no matter if Intoners were gone from the world.
“What happened to the faeries?...I wasn’t...present...but I am here because this is my forest...I came back by myself because Midgard is in war...it’s even uglier than when we Intoners walked this Earth...”

Pate was confused by the approach at first, though he settled when the acknowledgement from his pact partner confirmed the hermit’s words to be true. The question being asked, however, brought a furrowed brow to his face. “Me? Why would I have it?” When he turned his head towards the dragon, he was met with a disinterested silence. Seemed he would be no help at all. Pate sighed and shook his head.
“I’m sorry. I don’t know what could have happened to your coat. I can’t recall having had it in the first place, I’m afraid.” Still, he expected the dragon to confirm, but silence only remained. He thought about asking what the coat may look like, but as he stared at Leonard, it was obvious the man would not be able to describe it. “When was the last time you had it?” Pate asked, hoping to be helpful. He surely didn’t realize that the coat he was currently wearing was the exact one that was missing. Might as well have been something he’d worn the entire time being here as far as he knew.
Sinh only remained silently amused.

"How... How pretty. This purple... Red... It gives when squeezed. What is it? A sauce? Oh! I shall keep it! Keep it close! I will use it soon, I promise! I am so hungry..."

Four’s excuse just earned a bout of shrill, demeaning laughter in response, the faerie flipping over in the air in it’s own amusement. “Ahahahahaha! Oho, PIRATES? Ahaha-! That’s a new one, did they make you walk the plank? Hahahahaha! Why don’t you stay in the forest and mind your OWN business, you ugly old witch? You old hag! Elves aren’t nearly as bad as humans, if you’re so set on REAL justice you’d have dealt with those nasty apes instead! Heeheehee~!”
… Truly, the faerie hardly cared about the elves much more than Four did- Well, perhaps it cared about them a bit more than humans, but not much. It didn’t loathe them as much, at least. It drifted a bit closer to her, still a fair distance away but teasing the threat of it getting even nearer. While not as much, it still found a bit of amusement in her arms crossing after it’s “friendly” little comment. “We say that because we are better than everyone! We aren’t filthy like humans are! And we don’t pretend to be selfish know-it-alls like those snotty elves, either~ Oh! And, we aren’t disgusting like goblins or ogres are, blech! AND, we faeries were the ones placed in charge of the Forest Seal~ See? We faeries are the superior race, and everyone else is wrong! WE’RE just showing them their proper place in the world~ Isn’t that justice? Mmmmm~? Oh-!” The faerie quickly darted back at her threat, it’s voice losing it’s mocking tone and falling soft. “And you’ll kill a tiny little creature like me for THAT! How awful! Snots who act like little brats to OUR land and trample it all over deserve to be taught a thing or two if their stupid parents won’t! They don’t OWN the woods! It’s OURS! I bet if it wasn’t a human child you wouldn’t even bat an eye! Hypocrite, hypocrite~ How unfortunate your brain doesn’t grow nearly as fast as your claws do~ Hahah!” As soon as it had lost it, the faerie once again got the gall to drift right back over to the Intoner, flying a circle over her head just out of arm’s reach… “Ooh, the hammer of justice, how SCARY! I’m absolutely trembling with fear~! Hahahahaha!! Maybe not in the larger scheme of things, but for you I sense a liiiittle itty bitty tiny sense of discrimination~ I might just be losing it though, you never know!” Faerie stopped it’s dizzying circle and hovered directly above her head, looking down with a smug grin and sticking out it’s tongue. “Hahah! I don’t completely blame you for being so stupid though, it looks like you’re in league with those humans after all! Stupid~ Loser~!”
“Sky pirates! You uncultured swine!” Honestly, there was no real reason to hide her true personality when around the faerie. It’s not like her sisters or her Disciple were here.
Every time the faerie moved, Four would try to slap it with her giant gauntlet, no different to how someone would try to deal with an annoying fly that doesn’t leave the room.
“I’m not even that old!! Where did that idea come from?”
Frowning deeply, the Intoner clenched her jaw, even, letting out a soft groan before hitting the ground beneath her with one of her feet.
“I don’t know what a Forest Seal is, and I doubt I will care, but just know even humans have suffered under my fist! Like I said, the hammer of justice is for everyone.” She knew the little shit wouldn’t take her seriously, but it’s not like she was lying in this regard.
Independent of race -despite hating elves more- Four has killed...many people before in the name of One and ‘justice’.
Yet, she had no time nor patience to listen to all the creature had to tell her, if anything, the first words were enough to push the Intoner to do something to shut it up, and eventually, the girl would start yelling.
Her yell however, would be followed by her Song, to use it in the simple way of paralyzing the annoying faerie.
It didn’t work like Three’s Song, it was a simple paralysis- forcing the faerie to freeze in place, but it was enough for Four to stare better at it, and even pick it up with her gigantic gauntlet.
“I could just squeeze you here, end with your life, and not even feel bad about it. Or maybe I could cut your tongue so you can’t talk so much, huh?”

Seere makes his way over to where Leonard is, looking around for the faerie while he holds a glass of milk carefully in his hands. "Hello, Leonard...is the faerie around? I have a gift for them!"
