In the aftermath of Sinsmas, Stolas is left in the wake of every bad decision he had made up until that point, especially in the wake of how he hurt his daughter, and he had been waiting for a chance to make things right with her and to show her how much she means to him.
But when said chance arrives in the form of a military summons from Lucifer Morningstar for the Goetia to rescue Charlie Morningstar from Heaven, and the threat of his daughter being sent instead, there is nothing Stolas won’t do to protect Octavia.
Now he needs to find the will to not only survive but live, for his daughter, for Blitz, and for everyone he has grown to call his family.
Meanwhile Octavia must grapple with complicated feelings of anger, confusion, and grief that came from her fallout with her father. But with the impending war against Heaven now in effect, Octavia will have to take control of her life sooner than later.
Blitz is barely holding it together to help the man who has become the king of his heart and the girl who he loves like his own daughter even if she hates him.
And Loona is learning what it really means to care about other people.
Love doesn’t conquer all but it’s all they have left.
HI I’M NOT DEAD! Chapter 6 is up! In this chapter, both Stolas and Via are going through it, Stolas in training and Via who is dealing with Stella and Andrealphus’s bullshit.
Also uh…I feel bad for what I teased for Chapter 6 for a WIP Wednesday Post I did because the scene I posted for this chapter is NOT in here so…oops lol.
This chapter had gone through SO many drafts, and I finally got it in a spot that I’m proud of.
Thank you for sticking with this and give love to my beta reader and friend @handsaniti who helped me get this chapter into legible shape lol.

I love the way Stolas’ facial expressions turned out here and Blitz’s little blush face killed me while drawing it lol.

I wonder if they’ll ever address Blitzø’s similarities to his father.
We don’t know if there’s many; so much of Blitzø’s real self is hidden behind some pretty high walls we only get some peaks of, most of all in Oops, Truthseekers, Mastermind and Sinsmas.
We know he’s incredibly protective, something we also know Cash is not, seeing as he sent a small child into a serious dangerous situation with no remorse. I’m willing to bet Cash has significantly less redeeming traits than Blitzø does.
But there is one major similarity that I think is absolutely fascinating;
They’re both Imps who owned and operate(d) a business, something completely unheard of in Hell.
Cash has the circus. Blitzø has IMP.
And we know that Blitzø has dreamed of being a boss with an office of his own since childhood. He confidently told Stolas during their play date when they were children that he would own his own company one day (clowns and horses!)
He never once thought it was impossible and that’s because his father was the big boss of their circus. He didn’t grow up with the same mentality that Millie’s family did, that Imps were meant to be muscle.
So I’m curious to see if we’ll ever get that worry from Blitzø as time goes on, or what’ll be like when they see each other again (I can’t imagine we’ll go through the rest of the series without some sort of confrontation between Blitzø and his dad, but I could be wrong)
