Never feel bad about blocking someone on any social media. There's enough bullshit going on. And feeding the trolls is not your job. Block em.

How it feels to block people
Fandom hot take: maybe you don't need to do "what other people like" vs "what I like" comparisons, what is this 2013 me vs other girls?
Have had to deal with some rather Rude entitled block heads sending messages with groomer and rape to some of my Pikmin fanart sketches as threatening messages to me or other people who also have Alana in their names (and there are ALOT people and characters with the name Alana I met a few at my work over the years who also go by Alana it is not as a unique name as one thinks it is)
I am very NOT amused by those who throw around the words groomer and rape like it’s a joke or that those words don’t carry ALOT of weight to them you just cannot go throwing those around like they mean nothing and thus you really shouldn’t be using them in a joking manner and being as I don’t have the energy and time with blockheads who throw words like that around without no real understanding of how heavy these words are
I have no time to waste and no energy to waste on blockheads so they shall be blocked along with all the scammers and bots and ai slop
No one should have to deal with them as wonder over yonder Wonder says it’s not worth fighting with trolls; just don’t feed these trolls block the a lot accounts have a block button you can use them and also tumblr has report button so you can report spam and sexual harassment so you can report and block them so that’s what will happen if you come into this demisexual/ asexual adhd hobby artist from Australia 🇦🇺 will do
So my Pikmin fanart sketches to finish off the last page of this sketchbook are talking about blocking the blockheads
really not enjoying the hatred i see every now and then towards moomin ocs, especially those who interact/yumeship with snufkin... i totally understand having feelings of "he would not fucking say that" type shit, and it's completely fair to disagree with other people's interpretations of media. but i've witnessed creators get verbally attacked for daring to put their oc in the same image as him and i'm just... that's not on. snufkin wouldn't want young artists getting attacked for daring to create and be inspired. "oh the source material says that snufkin is-" the source material says to be kind.
Silly reminder that you can always just block me and move on if you don't like my content
Daily reminder that if you find yourself backed into a corner of "I love this creator but I don't love this one specific thing they're creating" (or something similar) you can block tags you don't like in settings in stead of blocking the whole creator. Don't like the ship? Block the tag. Don't like the fandom? Block the tag. Don't like the sexual content? Block the tag. Don't like rants? Block the tag.
I mean, I understand if they're creating something that you find problematic and you don't want anything of theirs on your page anymore (if that's the case, block. Don't make a public post about it, criticizing the creator unless they're stealing someone else's stuff). But if that's not the case, block the tag, don't complain, and move on. It'll make everyone happier.
Also please note this post is not passive aggressive or pointed towards anyone in particular, just putting it out there.
