Does anybody else remember that post that was like "The jedi aren't a religion as we think of it bc in-universe, the force is not a deity it's an energy field. Its a real thing. Its existence is accepted as scientific fact by the galaxy as large."
Bc that one really changed my star wars brain chemistry.
Sorry, this isn't my main but I'm too lazy to change it. Also, NOT ARGUING, JUST BRINGING UP A POINT
The Jedi, while being a religion followed by Force users and Force users only, is not about the Force itself and more about how they interact with it.
If you think about it, if it were simply about the Force and not the guide they approach it with, the Nightsisters, the Sith, and any other group that is Force Sensitive would all be Jedi. The Nightsisters, interact with the Force in a WILDLY different way, think about it differently, and have a completely separate way of life. Same with the Sith.
It's not about what they believe (or know, in this case), it's about how they believe it and practice it. It's the difference between the three Abrahamic Religions. Hell, it's the difference between Catholics and Baptists.
