Some block scheduling, inspired by a post I saw on pinterest and some German conjunctions practice.
It's now 12:06!!
I'm in chorus again. The school is cutting our time for our texh rehearsal because the school's test scores are down. That's so unfair, so now the principal is making us only use half a day instead of our usual full day just so people are still in classes for the day. Why penalise everyone and not only the ones in the wrong? It's somewhat upsetting, I suppose.
Someone is also ratting us out to the principal, which we should find out who that is, because that's not cool :(

Since its inception in 1953 Trinity has welcomed the widest range of students possible and surrounded them with great teachers and four flexible academic programs tailored to their abilities.
This inclusive environment, coupled with an engaging block schedule and welcoming House System, has helped our students earn record academic results and quickly find where they belong As a Catholic High School, Trinity also takes great pride in being a college-preparatory high school forming men of faith and men of character. The Archdiocese of Louisville sponsors the school, which is governed by a board of directors representing a broad cross-section of the community. The United States Department of Education has recognized Trinity as a School of Excellence. Trinity is accredited by AdvancED, the Department of Education of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association. Trinity High School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally available to students. Trinity does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, or disability (if with reasonable accommodation the student can meet the requirements of Trinity’s course of study) in the administration of its educational policies, scholarship or loan programs, athletic or other school-administered programs.
Dear Northeast,
PLEASE make a good college that uses block scheduling. How the HELL is every single one either in the west or down South?!?!!?
You’re supposed to be the home of great funky liberal arts colleges, do better please.
Sincerely,
A disgruntled Northeastern High Schooler
SOOO
I want to thank the girl on Glow who recommended the block schedule
Funny enough I tried to do this with the whole M-A-E planner this schoolyear but I still somewhat failed because I didn’t specify for myself what were acceptable things/unacceptable things to do during those times of the day.
I like these kinds of things not because of “man I ‘cant’ do this at this time” because puhhh-leeze im a grown ass independent woman who can do as she pleases.
But its more like “welp if I didnt get to XYZ then I will try again tomorrow during that block”
Because right now its like “here is my checklist and ideally it will get done but I would like it done just anytime today” and then I try to pick my non-negotiables but listen. thats hard too. and then the feelings when those things dont get done when “I HAD ALL DAYYYYYY”
Also- I just hate having the worlds most confusing work from home schedule where the lines of home and work are blurry and having little kids- one who is and will still be nursing into the unforeseeable future soooo yeah.
Blah this was long lol
