PLEASE make a good college that uses block scheduling. How the HELL is every single one either in the west or down South?!?!!?
You’re supposed to be the home of great funky liberal arts colleges, do better please.
Sincerely,
A disgruntled Northeastern High Schooler

So, let me just get something off my chest. I moved schools during 11th grade. My previous school switched over to block that year (which screwed my sister over during the move. I only had to take math senior year, but I was in senior math anyway). Their logic was that, by lengthening the time of classes and having students only have the class half the year, it would allow more time for teachers to discuss problems with students and prevent homework. You know what we got instead? I forgot half of what my summer assignment was for math by time second semester came And my history teacher first semester said that, since each class was the equivalent of two the previous year, we had to do two nights worth of homework Beautiful logic, school system. You didn't remove homework. You increased it. (Because naturally the classes without homework were all 2nd semester)
