There were few reasons Kenma had to be waiting outside in the snow. He wasn’t really fond of it, as it was far too cold for his liking. The current snow the blanketed the campus was bright and fluffy: perfect for anyone who enjoyed the winter weather. Kenma could hear people in the distance already taking advantage of it by throwing snowballs around or attempting to build snowmen and igloos. He sighed, still not quite understanding the appeal of it all.
But, nevertheless, Kenma found himself sitting on one of the few benches that had been untouched by the snow, tapping away at his phone. His reason was good enough, though. He couldn’t pass up he earliest opportunity to see his closest friend, after all. It was a wonder they hadn’t passed by already, given the mutual school. But, the first few days of the large university had proved to be very busy, taking up any extra time Kenma had to even really meet his roommate.
So, when the time for classes to end had arrived, Kenma scurried off (eagerly, almost) to the designated meeting place outside the building Kuroo was to exit from. There were few reasons he’d wait outside in the snow, but this was absolutely one of them. That didn’t prevent a shiver from wracking his body, though. Kenma tugged the scarf he wore closer to his neck, before resuming his game (a certain cat collector he’d become rather fond of).
He sighed a bit, watching the breath escape from his body. Where was Kuro...?
