â round 2
11: gentle kiss
Though the teacher going over the lesson wasnât necessarily considered noise, Heisukeâs mind was preoccupied with other things. Mostly on the classmate that was seated behind him. Heâd be lying if he said he didnât have an interest in him, he even caught himself thinking how he kind of wished it was him behind the aforementioned instead. That way he could see him more, right? Any hint of a change of expression. Maybe things that caught his interest and shone on his face. Anything.Â
He wanted more than he could give the younger male. It was a hopeless crush, of course. He didnât understand how it brewed up or when, but all he knew was he desperately wanted to do what he could to satisfy Tsukishimaâs heart. Yet, he..was out of reach. Hopeless. Of course itâs hopeless. ⊠At least, if itâs hopeless, then it wouldnât hurt to put in his all, he figured. Right. The outcome would be the same, he knew. Today, they had some sort of project, and with the teacherâs eventual âa-okâ and with a click of his tongue, he shifted his weight around to turn his chair as well as himself to face Tsukishima. The only response he received was a small glance upwards, eyes shifting back down to his own belongings on the desk.
Heisuke would, of course, be dejected if it werenât for the fact he didnât expect much in reactions at all. Maybe. But..this way, even if he was being ignored, he was happy. This way, he could actually watch the other work. Maybe his existence wasnât even very noticeable. Maybe it was annoying, having someone you barely knew hover while youâre working. So, to make it easier, he did his own thing, too. Using his own lap as a table, he kept a hard-covered book placed on his legs so he could write without hinderance. Soonâclass ends. Students dismissed. Without missing a beatâ
âTsukishima. Can you wait?â He didnât expect him to. âI need to ask you something. Please." He really didnât expect him to. Against all odds, though, he did. Even if he looked mildly annoyed. Well, more than mildly.Â
Thus, they waited. Until they were alone. Granted, that didnât take very long. Students were usually pretty eager to haul out of the classroom onto the next one. Most were even prepared for the bell or dismissal from the teachers themselves, what have you. He kept his eyes firmly on Tsukishima, whom was messing around with whatever book he would probably just carry to the next class. Still not bothering to look at him.Â
And such, he didnât want to waste this personâs time anymore, the likelihood of getting another chance alone, or not, with him in general would probably waste whatever opportunity on Heisukeâs end in this moment he might have and, âTsukki,â
.. he seized it, taking advantage of the other turning his head up ignoring whatever expression that plastered itself across Tsukishimaâs face and bridging the distance by shifting his body to lean up & forward, pressing a delicate, short kiss against the blondâs own lips. Whatever consequences to come after would always come after.
