Every time I see a post about this Mermay thing I remember a defunct app called Blocksworld with the force of a freight train.
It was a game for making games, like Roblox, that got shut down in 2018 or so. There was a subculture on it (these were middle schoolers for the most part) who kept making games about hunting, catching, and eating mermaids. These things were as graphic as the medium allowed, and let’s just say they got creative with it.
There was another subculture that made games about rescuing mermaids in direct conflict with them, but since it was essentially an open forum, there was no plot, and everyone just yelled at each other.
Whump digital history I guess.

speaking of blocksworld. i mightve just found one of my new favorite pieces of music from this old ass 2013 mobile game??
i wonder where all of those famous blocksworld people are now
Feeling nostalgic, does anyone remember BlocksWorld? I used to be a semi-active skit and game creator there back in the day. It was a kid's game creation platform, kinda like roblox, but with much simpler ways of coding and no multiplayer mode. People would make various games and even code cutscenes and skits with characters made of props. I used to go by Wolfy. My sona was a grey wolf with purple hair and a pokemon hoodie (Whom has evolved into my current sona today) Looking for anyone who remembers this game and who possibly interacted with me!
Some more screencaps I found under the cut!
Back the Blocksworld Kickstarter!
Blocksworld was a game that I and many others enjoyed long ago. It's a game in which you can build experiences using blocks and code them using simple tiles. I do not have money to contribute to the Kickstarter to bring back this game, but I do wish to spread awareness of it. Do consider pitching in; Every contribution counts!
You can find the project here.
For some reason I cannot post this with the link embedded.
who is toon and where you know him?
he came from a Nostolgia game called "blocksworld" because you remember when you play that game... Well maybe there a comeback if you can support on the Revival project on kickstarter
if we reach the goal, the revival will be a success but it fails well it might face far more then death, stuck in limbo, like Pen pals forever and even other failed project?
we can't it happen so please, support the project and it might happen come true and happy. I love this game when I was young in 2014

getting called a noob on Blocksworld was the 10-year-old autistic child version of getting called a slur
