Is there a side of the transfem vs transmasc discourse that doesn't like theyfab as a term, doesn't mind tme/tma but acknowledges there is nuance, does not like misandry and androphobia as terms taken out of their context (and then acting shocked when people are offput by that), and also does not like Talia Bhatt?

cause I have all these viewpoints, but neither transandrophobia nor the transfeminist side likes hearing that so.

idk what it is, but people have convinced themselves that the response to straight women being homophobic is pretending that gay men are less likely to be misogynistic (not true in any material sense, genuinely wtf are yall talking about) or pretending that cis gay men do not benefit from patriarchy because of homophobia.

idk who needs to tell y'all this, but intersectionality does not stop cis men who are queer from benefiting from patriarchy just bc homophobia is rooted in misogyny. It literally just means they are affected by it differently. You guys do not think straight women stop benefiting from the homophobia just bc its rooted in misogyny. y'all don't apply this logic to ANY other type of oppression, actually.

The person who said y'all are using "intersectionality" to soft launch misandry as a moral failing and downplay misogyny was 100% correct. Tumblr has an MRA problem.

I hate how terfs and radical feminism in general have a monopoly on feminist conversations. It's very boring and tiring. the only place that I see that does not have the terf kind of radfems are transfeminists (still mostly radfem though, so fuck my life) and intersectional feminists who just talk about bell hooks and how cis men go through gendered oppression (how do you make feminism about cis men? classic mra thing to weaponize intersectional feminism and then mostly just center marginalized cis men and barely acknowledge women until it can benefit cis men).

we need to do better.
