Vampires, upon turning, are SLIGHTLY paler, grow fangs, pointed ears, their pupils sharpen, and hair turns pure white, and any accents become red!
The fancy clothing is NOT necessary, but they are all meant to look vaguely ancient and Victorian-esque! Plus it makes em look cool!
Vampires can turn other vampires by feeding off humans and sinking their teeth in deeper than necessary, which turns a human!
It is the responsibility of older vampires to look after younger vampires! Basically, those that have been vampires longer look after newer vampires!
And how do the humans defeat vampires? Why, stakes to the heart of course! … that or burning them up in the sun. :D
