[tries to sneak into the ask box but trips over something, causing a hilarious and very loud chain reaction, which results in me tumbling to the floor] hey do you have any songs that fit charlie, bloodbones, or ook ook cuz i’m having trouble finding songs for them to put on my playlist
KJASDNFHJKESFHRKETGJ it’s alright!! i cannot for the life of me figure out any songs for bloodbones and ook ook, but i’ve been listening to my Spotify saved songs and i have a few that remind me of charlie boy both in vibes and lyrics:
- Fireflies by Owl City
- Rose-Colored Boy by Paramore
- Best Day of My Life by American Authors
also i know you already have songs for marla but i have two i really want to mention:
- Darlin by Avril Lavigne
- Wings by Little Mix
(and i know it may not be currently relevant but if you have any songs for Evil!Rex that would be amazing, i only have two at the moment, and that is Twisted by MISSIO and I Wanna Hold You by McFly)
if anyone else here knows some songs for bloodbones and/or ook ook that would be great, because i can’t figure out any whatsoever. nix i hope you find some, you got a great collection of them already.
some lines i CANNOT stop finding so hilarious
Bloodbones: *gets cut off from singing by getting knocked out by the boarding plank of his ship*
Charlie: Oh no! Bloodbones!
Nola: *drily* More like crushed bones.
some neat things going on here; just some pals having a good time

"Jackie wants to know if she's adopted," Henry says from the deepest shadows of the kitchen.
"Well what did you say?" Terry responds, putting the dishes away.
"I said 'No.'"
Terry turns and looks at him, brow knit. "Why?"
"Because she's only six, she's not supposed to know she's adopted when she's so young. We have to wait until she's older."
"Why?"
Terry watches the vampire before him, because that's what he is, a vampire. He is reminded now, what the man truly is. The blood dribbles down the woman's pale as porcelain neck, her mouth gapes open in a silent scream. Her legs still move a bit, kicking out lightly, twitching. She is so weak now. Her eyes barely stay open.
It is similar to what Terrence does, actually. Breathing in the life of humans, their souls filling his body with energy and youth. Mouths open, gasping for oxygen to help them continue their quickly fleeting lives, uselessly. Scrambling for purchase with clawed fingers, trying to grab onto something, he doesn't know what.
Henry doesn't know that he's watching. His eyes are closed as he drinks in the woman's life force, and Terry thinks that it's an intimate thing, a vampire drinking the blood of his prey. Lips against neck, eyes fluttering closed, arms holding the body close. Terry's head tilts, fascinated.
Henry pulls back, breathing heavily, a bit of blood on the corner of his mouth. The woman is still, and Henry drops her. He stands and turns, freezes, eyes on Terry.
The man cocked his head to the side, looking down on the ruffled vampire with curiosity.
"Are you quite alright?" he asked.
"Yes. I'm fine. Leave me alone." Henry growled back, keeping his eyes forward, looking for any sign of the retreating coven leader.
"You don't look alright... Can I help you with something? Maybe those guys you were chasing?"
Henry glanced up at the hovering sorcerer, considering. He didn't need help. He was injured, felt a little dizzy, the bastard was probably half a mile away by now, but no, he certainly didn't need help. He kept limping forward.
"No."
