When you stop progressing Bloodborne because you can only savour so much while playing offline

I’ve stopped just shy of going to see Mergo’s Wet Nurse, which, after you defeat them, the next thing you’re supposed to do is confront Gherman as the Hunter’s Dream is engulfed in flames. I adore the Hunter’s Dream, and hate seeing it go up. It reminds me of my Grampa’s cabin. ^^

My Catholic Constable Blood Knight is coming along well, too. I just love Bloodborne so much it drives me a little nutty! Armed with Threaded Cane and Evelyn pistol, I’m pleased with my offline progress into one of the most difficult games playable. It’s not impossible, but wow is it ever a rage-inducing challenge. I can’t wait to fight Maria. Or get the Church Pick. See, thing is, I’m at or around the endgame in terms of health and damage, but to use some of the weapons I want to use requires levelling up.. 33 more times. Maybe more, the Gatling Gun looks real tempting, and I haven’t even started New Game + yet.

I haven’t even figured out signing up for the Internet so I can play Bloodborne online. I know there’s still a healthy community, and that response times have gone down, but I could still play with people. Father Smylenol of the Catholic Dominion rends through the beasts of the night in the most beautiful style!

just a thought, if the hunt kept going on forever, like after you do your business and kill who is there in yharnam, id like to imagine new people came to it in search of more information, thus continuing the cycle.

it would be so fucked if there was just a random group of scholars who decided to like decide paths on their own and ended up finding the remnants of the choir, school of mensis, etc. and then them growing to be just like those of the previous past years. like sometime in the future.

like what if the curse in yharnam and yhar'agul kept going on forever. even to our day in age, it woul be so funny because like imagine a group of school of mensis cultist scholars or whatever, posting their weird fucking cult pictures on some telegram or some random website. like imagine if theres just modern choir boys posting about how one of their friends recently turned into a kin.

or a vicar and how their job is doing at the healing church like what if. what if it just went on forever and ever and could never be ended, it's just the curse of that place. but people still decide to live and grow families there despite how wrecked and muddied it is of bodies of corpses.

who knows like maybe, maybe some humans came to its abandoment one day once all the corpses started to fully rot and turn itno skeletons, what if some humans came to that silly place and decided to start finding ways to clean it up, and then created a new civilization.. what if people started to learn about the people of the past. like dawg imagine if your just some random scholar and you learn about this pathetic furball of a freak who might have been the cause for creation of the cult you're apart of, and has been long dead since hundreds of years. what if you learn about the dream adn its like 2024 so you have your electronics in the dream and you're like 'this place is so pretty' on instagram or whatever, and the dreamlands start becoming attractions. like wow! look at this fucking boar with a thousand eyes on its face! we should make a zoo. honestly. no. the mensis nightmare would BE the zoo.

for the other nightmares and dreams, i unno.. maybe the hunters dream would end up becoming like a place of comfort, and healing...

*Rant Skirt Is On*

I used to be one of those people who used to say:

“Healing in Bloodborne is so cheap, like healing makes you the worse kind of person”

“Healing is for people with no honor, like how are you gonna bow to me and then heal?!?!”

But then I realized, because of not healing, I die in 30 seconds or less, I stand there and wait Centuries, just to find someone to invade, and because when you invade someones world, you lose 1/3 of your health bar, so you are at a disadvantage from the start! so when I get hate mail for healing in a PvP battle, I just get so mad, because I don’t think they understand the fact they could have killed me in 30 seconds with simple R1 Spam! and I don’t think thats really enjoyable at all... 

The fights that last a few minuets, the fights were we both heal, the fights that we are just looking for openings, using strategies and tactics to get the upper-hand over your opponent, those are the most enjoyable fights to me at least....
