Here there are, the general topics which Kamijo's talk about on the YT 'Bloodcast' Radio Live (12.04.2020)
• When he wrote Eye of Providence, he never thought that some unbelievable things would happen later. And 2019 was a short year because he went to a lot of tours. He promises to release an album this year!
• He's very surprised by the speed of comments on Twitter, and by the fact that he's being asked by people from over the world. He's thinking about learning English more!
• He's been planning a tour through America, South America, Europe but the virus has come so he had to cancel/report them.
• He's going to answer to questions asked on Twitter!
• From Brasil: What was your most ashaming moment in live performances? He said in Mascarade, when he fell off stage.
• About composing nowadays (because of the virus): He's thinking a lot about what he can do, but he can't experiment a lot of things directly. However he still tries to master new things, such as YouTube live (next time, maybe a video live)!
• About demo songs: Sometimes he can't even compose one song a month, because he composes very slowly. While he composes, he first searches the 'motive' of the song, the topic. It can be very long, but if he doesn't have it, he can't go through the song and finish it. However he saves preciously the songs he can't finish, because he likes all his songs. (He can't concentrate in a moment, because of the song behind in the broadcast LOL)
• Things he wants to try once he's able to perform live: Just to do a live concert as usual, because he only feels alive when he's performing while listening to audience's voices. And he misses the awkward silences of his "boring" microphones.
• Since he can't go out, he misses to breath outside air, to feel the sun (He prefers sun to moon. Weird isn't it?)
• Things he tried again during lockdown: he's watching YouTubers such as Hikakin, rock bands, and studies what is good in videos. But he feels guilty sometimes to be too much on YT, so he's reflecting a lot on his stories and what it means for him to be an artist.
• Questions about the Versailles logo: he visited the members. A lot of times, they wanted to protect the band too much so it wasn't easy to change things. But a lot will happen soon, linked to History! About the large font, it's because it's an old one, filled with memories.
• Change the story into manga or another things: He's speaking of a oversees fan project, with handmade pictures coming from all over the world. He was really happy about it.
• He would be really happy to go drinking with fans! Really cool to do a party with people from around the world :) (Answered to someone who thanked him for the Osaka performance and asked him to go drinking with him)
• About Bloodway (New Song from the upcoming Single "Persona Grata"): It'll be a violent song. With audience screaming. It's linked to shows in Broadway which are talked about in Persona story. (Bloodway is airing! Reno played in Bloodway's song too! Bass is Masashi, Drums are Yuki, Sayama Yuta as piano.)
• He wanted to play it during the CF tour, but it has another sense now that it's reported. He talked with musicians, band members and live houses to plan the reported tour. It's been planned for August. For July 17, he doesn't know, he wanted it to be linked with the new album. For the in-store events, he really wishes they'll happen.
• He was really surprised on how Reno was watching the comments during his YT live. He's also talking a lot with Versailles members to think about what to do. Because, virus or not, they had important things to do. There's a lot of social networks compared to bfr so lots of ways of expressing oneself. Web has become a way to show oneself. It's very different then in the past, because net self can be different then normal self. For him, it's himself in the lyrics.
• Ano hito no ai Shita hito nara's Song: Wished happiness to others, thinking about the person he would become. Now, this song has become different, maybe a little sadder. Songs transcend the soul and talk about oneself, the future, but also to other people. It has impact on his character.
• About Persona Grata's Song: The virus is "an enemy that we can't see", that we couldn't expect. He didn't think about it when he first wrote the song but he rewrote it with the need to give light, hope to people. (Persona Grata is airing!)
PERSONA GRATA SONG PREVIEW:
• About the tour: he really wants to do a lot of lives and meet everyone very soon, in summer or whenever it's possible.
• About the lives in July: July 19th is someone's special day... So around this day, on 18th and 19th, if he can do things, he wants to try funny things if the virus is dead by then.
• A last song: He wants to dedicate it to people who work in live houses and people who had to cancel their participation in lives. He really thinks a lot to his fans and his staff members who freed themselves for the tour. He's really sorry.
• When he does a world tour, the setlists are the same wherever, so he feels that the world is very little. And he's looking forward to play songs in front of everyone's eyes. He wants to show his world to everyone.
• For him, the important things is that everyone is healthy and stays at home. Otherwise he can't meet the fans, including oversees and present his songs. "PLEASE CONTINUE TO LIVE", he said.
(And the Bloodcast finished on Crimson Family!)
