Surely what Malik was seeing had to be some kind of mistake. A hallucination, maybe? Perhaps he hadn’t gotten enough sleep-- real or not, the man he had once shared a body with was here, in front of him, and he couldn’t help but be uneasy. A buzz of questions ran through his mind. Is he angry? seemed to stand out most of all. He knew he would be if their positions had been reversed. Anything he may have wanted to say remained caught in his throat, and all he could do was stare.
