I didn’t get enough sleep and in the evening, the baby cried for over an hour. That’s not like him. He never cries like that. So on the one hand it’s hard and annoying for me but on the other hand I was worried because the baby can’t help it and I wanted to know what was wrong so I could fix it or comfort him better.
In the evening I went to a new fitness close to our place. Hotworx - an infrared sauna fitness, offers virtual classes in infrared cabines, 24/7. They were doing a “Cyber Monday” action (same one as on Black Friday); $1 subscription! I visited the place last week to check the price. Last week they said: “we have a special offer in November because we just opened. You pay $96 for your subscription and you get a free yoga mat and towel. Afterwards, you pay $56 per month to be a member.” This is a lot of money! But it’s the cheapest and closest option to where I live... So the Cyber Monday deal was great! I could save a lot of money!
When I got there and mentioned the deal, they were very friendly and started my subscription. $1, check. Of course, $1 is just a joke.
HW: Oh by the way, you need a special yoga mat and towel, it’s $96. You don’t have to buy it now if you don’t want to.
Me: I will check if I have a yoga mat at home.
HW: Oh no, you need ours. Other ones will melt in the infrared sauna. And with insurances and all...
Me: Ok... I’ll take it then. But I’ll bring my own towel.
HW: Hmm no. Our towel is a little bigger than the yoga mat and has one side that’s non skid, so it absorbes your sweat and makes sure you don’t slip.

I feel deceived and ripped off. I am so bad in these type of situations. I should have told them that that is not a Cyber Monday deal, that it’s a scam. I was really angry when I left the place. Angry at myself most of all. Ugh. Mqjs@kf#!s)éjb2i [angry-emoji] I need a minute to cry. Guess I’ll have to go often to make sure it’s worth my money... Ugh.
