“The Emperor’s Favor”

While I love drawing monsters a lot, I fell in love with @blossomajesty‘s gijinka for their Safi’jiva OC, Emperor Snogget Bloodstealer II! (Don’t you dare mock such a name befitting royalty). What’s with that winning smile, you ask? I think it’s because he’s about to drop a nuke on all those bothersome hunters.

I hope you don’t mind me playing with his clothes a little bit and putting my own spin on a couple things! And have some detail shots just because.

“Hmmmm...” Tetsu leaned back against he outside of his house and scratched his craggy chin in thought. “I don’t hear a lot of music out here. The little I catch from going into the village is a bit repetitive for me. Meant to get in your head and stick.” He shrugs but then smiles slowely. “Though there is a family that sings from the village center every now and then that has beautiful harmony. That I enjoy very much.”

He sipped the strange mix of teas and exhaled as the cinnamon hit the back of his throat. “I have started a garden before. It’s still going for the most part, though I have no particular skill at it. Sasha looks after it usually.” He leaned back against the outside wall of his home and looked up into the clear morning sky. “My favorite smell, hmmm. I’ve always enjoyed the smell of the forest and mountains after a good rain. Everything striving to grow faster with the new energy from the storm.”
