I really love Blue Complex, honestly. They suicidal boy who's struggling with the reality of his mother's suicide and his father blaming him for it and leaving him alone and the way he's slowly finding comfort in other people but holding himself back because he's determined to die the same day she did all over again and how he's slowly killing himself in a thousand ways even before that date and he literally swims until he can't walk and he's terrified of how much he relates to his mother's last words and he's terrified of caring about anyone because he doesn't want to stay or see a reason to stay and it's all wrapped around this painful struggle of a love story and these slowly growing friendships and coming out of isolation and how depression thrives in isolation but also causes isolation and how the two intertwine and hurt and ache and leave everyone hurting and struggling and just... damn. I love it here. (And it's a week, a week, he's given himself a week and nothing more, not a moment more, just a week and he's trying to hold himself to it.)
