Okay, but I think a lot of people missed out a very important detail in Stray. B12 is a robot particularly based on (B)lue 12 studios itself while a main catagonist is based on a real cat that developers of this game dev studio took care of.

They presented themselves (B12) as the "last human" in a robotic shell and they are helping this cat as an allegory of help they provided in this real life inspiration for cat in a game. They basically based a whole game on a relationship they build with a stray cat and how they helped him. How cool is that???
