Hi!!! When I saw your prompt about putting akane in an elevator with girls… I kind of jumped and ran with it. There are definitely more timelines out there which we haven't seen for 999, so your prompt teased my brain to think of one. What about the timelines where Junpei doesn't go through door 4 with Aoi and Akane, and doesn't get the bookmark? Akane and Aoi know that they likely won't succeed, and Aoi wouldn't want to keep the bookmark with him, so he gives it to Akane instead. Akane, seeing her brother become depressed as he realizes Akane's fate is sealed and she will die, and seeing Clover driven to madness as she loses her brother, gives Clover the bookmark and tells her not to give up. I'm sorry that I was late, I had Life Events(TM) happening to me, but I hope you like it!!
