I really like the idea of all the protags having Royal Knights as their Digimon partners, and Toko and Komaru are another PRIME pair for a DNA Digivolve/Jogress Evolve situation (that is, one where your souls become so perfectly in sync your Digimon evolve into a single, more powerful Digimon). I think Toko definitely has a Kunemon (bug girl!) and Komaru has a Veemon (narrative "sequel protagonist" Digimon!), and they Jogress to Dinobeemon, going up to Imperialdramon from there.

I was in the middle of replaying ZTD when I got your prompts, so I couldn’t resist writing some post-ZTD Junepei! I decided to go with your first prompt (Akane and Junpei having a heart-to-heart about their past after the events of ZTD), sprinkling some hurt/comfort into the fic with Junpei comforting Akane since that was another one of your prompts (though I went for a nightmare instead of a mental health episode — I hope that’s alright!)
