New York Bird

A continuation of the events from the previous thread between me and @blueblxzes

So this is New York city.  Damian thought to himself as he walked through it, in costume to boot.  It was different than Gotham, as here, there were no citizens gawking at the fact there was a superhero.  It was just another day of the week for them.  However, he had an appointment at the unisphere, with someone he’d worked with before.

Sam woke up, bleary-eyed. What time was it? And where-- good, he was still home, still in his bed. Sky blue eyes cast a glance to the numbers that blared red in the darkness: it was 2:14am. He stretched and got up out of bed. Since he was awake, he decided now would be a good time to investigate what made the noise that woke him up.

Not bothering to throw a shirt on and grabbing his phone instead, he exited his room in just loose pajama pants and went to the living room. There was something by the couch... oh, duh. His mentor had been staying the night and took up residence on the couch. He turned on his phone’s flashlight and lit up where Rider had unceremoniously fallen.

     “ If you’re still asleep I’ll be impressed. If not... you okay? ”
