Obviously. the "Schueberfouer" had no rides when it first started - it began as a cattle market, then slowly evolved into the three weeks of rides, fun and food we know today.
One of its attractions is an old horse carousel - and when I mean old: this thing was already there when my grandma was a kid, and she was born in 1928. It's the girlfriend s and my own tradition to ride the carousel each year at least once.
This made me think: What if Ariana had been able to visit a fun fair and ride a carousel? Just something very mundane and fun, which she sadly never got to enjoy. Of course, in an ideal world, she would have attended the fair with her siblings and extended family, meaning Gellert.
(If you're wondering where Aberforth is: He's buying candy apples for everyone to enjoy.)
I cheated with the background though; it's a photograph of a Victorian-inspired carousel I took at the cHristmas market a few years ago. Had to edit out a trash can.
The coat Albus is wearing is based off the one @bluecrownedbird drew him in once (I asked if I could let him wear the thing once in one of my own drawings, and she was okay with it.)
