It’s going to be If/Then! :D And Idina Menzel is a broadway star—she’s best known for being Maureen in RENT and Elphaba in Wicked, and recently got a lot more attention than usual for being the voice of Elsa in Frozen.

Probably the idea is that "magic fixes everything," which sucks. But once I read this Cedric/Hermione fic where he survived book 4 but was in a wheelchair, I don't know if it's online anywhere anymore but I saved each chapter as a file.

And yes, I recall something JKR said about disability that was, er, along those lines. Which is a lot of bullshit but, well, no one’s perfect.

I’m sure you’ll be an awesome parent! Don’t worry.

I’m not worried, actually, about my ability to parent (other than how my mental illness might make things hard for the kiddo). I’ve always been good with kids despite my past. I just...end up more conflicted about fiction than reality, which is backwards of how it should be.

whenever there are good father/daughter (or father-figure/daughter-figure) relationships in fiction, I feel even worse about my life. Also all men are evil which is why I will most likely be alone forever. sorry, I shouldn’t have commented. I just had to. But I’m never having kids because I’d be the worst parent ever, so I never deal with my issues and I have no advice. sorry.

if you don't mind answering, I'm just curious why you don't ship sq anymore.

I’ll keep this brief since I don’t want to complain or end up debating with people. I’m not anti- anything, fwiw.

Half of it is that I no longer buy them as a couple. They feel incompatible to me now, and I could have gotten past that except that I also don’t feel non-platonic chemistry between them anymore. So it’s a complete dead end for shipping.

The other half, though, is just fandom being fandom. Even avoiding as much drama as I could, I’ve still come across so much behavior that just puts me off the pairing, and honestly off Regina as a character too. And I have a habit of detaching from fiction when fandom upsets me too much. Which is perhaps not “fair” to characters/pairings, but I’m not a perfect rational being so. Oh well. Such is life.

Sadly literally all my hobbies as well as my job require constant use of the hands. But I haven’t had inflammation like this in a long time. It used to be food caused but idk now.
