I know this is from a really long time ago, but I have a couple questions about your sky scarf. I've never knitted before in my life so I really have no idea what I'm doing. What kind of nettles and stitch you used for your sky scarf. I really like the way you made yours and I was hoping I could make one using the same stitches. Anything you can help me with would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
Hey no problem! You can check out exactly what I did on my ravelry here.
I can't remember the yarn I used, but any worsted wool will do. I know I used 4.5mm needles and this pattern.
If you're a beginner knitter, you can find some really good knitting tutorials on youtube! The Foreign Corespondent's Scarf is lace-knit and a more intermediate pattern - you'll have to decrease and use some lace stitches, like yarn over, but I'm sure you could do it :)
Here's a good tutorial for the basics of knitting
And a good tutorial on decreasing (knit 2 together)
And one on yarn overs
Hope this helps!
