I watched the first episode of the Kagerou Project (on another note, why is it called Mekakucity Actors?) because I've been seeing you reblog and post stuff about it for a while now and I was interested but never really had the drive to find out anything but now, I'm going to to look more into it because it looks really, really cool and interesting.

The anime is called Mekakucity Actors because that's what Jin (the creator) originally wanted this whole project to be called! "Kagerou Project" was really only a placeholder title for the project, but it ended up sticking with the fans and there wasn't much he could do about it. So he decided that at least the anime was going to go by the name he originally intended.

Funi has been messing up a lot lately so this doesn’t come as a surprise. I dunno if they just have new casting people or what but they’ve been making a lot of weird choices, in pretty much all the animes they’ve been dubbing recently.
Oh good, so it isn't just me that's been noticing that. Yeah, recently their casting choices have been... not amazing. I don't usually pay much attention to dubbed animes and I still noticed that Funi's been lacking lately haha

I really think Ayres should have been Nai, at least that would have made some sense. This new guy they got to play Nai just doesn’t sound good. Thankfully, the rest of the cast looks very decent and they’ve got some good ones in it so…
Mm yeah it would have made more sense but i still don't think that voice would fit Nai :/ It's definitely not the worst dub in the world, but it's still not as good as it could have been.
