IMPORTSNT QUESTION HOW DO U FEEL ABOUT THOMINALLY

OH GOD THIS IS AN IMPORTSNT QUESTION

jfc how dont i feel about thominally

first and foremost, gally and thomas meeting through minho, the mutual friend, with minho/gally being old friends and minho/thomas being BEST friends, and then one day they meet and talk and can't decide if they want to kill or fuck each other and minho thinks it's hilarious

i also like the idea that both minho and gally (domineering as they are) would try to influence thomas in their own ways and then fight over what's best for him while thomas does jigsaw puzzles and plays with the cat in the living room (in this house that they live in together for some reason)

like minho would think gally holds thomas back and gally would think minho perpetuates thomas' tendency to do crazy dangerous shit, both of which are sometimes true

(and then because thomas tends to think independently or is just really bad at listening to other people, he gets himself into a lot of trouble on his own

and at the end of the day minho and gally have to band together to make sure he doesn't dash into open traffic or try to take on four guys at once, because they're both very protective of him, even if they're not open about it

and because minho and gally do trust each other a lot when it really counts.)

((IN REGARDS TO BANGING, i think for thomas and minho sex would be playful and kind of?? funny, and for minho and gally it would be a goddamn competition, and for thomas and gally it would be rough but interspersed with moments of tenderness 

SO ALL TOGETHER it would be a mess of laughing and lip biting and kissed bruises etc. etc. etc.))

Oh man the dreidels could do what gobstones do when you lose and shoot green goo at you. Also, not exactly magical, but think about the endless piles of latkes. Eternal latkes. Plates of latkes that keep refilling themselves for eight days straight. (Also sorry if I say anything inaccurate, I don't celebrate Hanukkah, just think it's really interesting. And am very passionate about fried, grated potatoes.)

I'm not disagreeing with anything you said, but Anthony Goldstein was a ravenclaw, so Harry wouldn't have seen him setting up a menorah in the common room. I still think it would have been awesome to have a mention of a menorah in the great hall by the Christmas trees though, especially considering that they had like 12 20 foot tall Christmas trees, all covered in magical decorations. Imagine how cool a giant, magical menorah would have been.

That would have been awesome, the lights burning constantly - maybe even changing colors or periodically shooting out sparks. And what about magical dreidels that spin in the air, chocolate galleons, prank dreidels that laugh or make a disappointed "aww" whenever you land on nun! The possibilities are endless! (I seriously want one of those prank dreidels now.)

College roommates au where Newt and Alby are both massive nerds who get super stressed before finals and study like 20x more than they need to and at the beginning of their relationship when they're still in their "oh my god I can't believe you actually want me i literally can't keep my hands off you when we're together" phase they have to set up shifts where one of them is in the room and one is in the library bc otherwise they'd never get anything done

Oh my God, yeeees. 

It’s like, they’re having a great time, but they’ve got GPAs to maintain and the Honor’s College to stay in and as much as they want to be together five-ever and always they need to buckle down. 

They have a color coordinated schedule up on the minifridge, for times Alby’s at the library, and for times Newt’s there, and for times they get to be together in the room. 

One time Thomas and Minho come over and see it and they can’t stop laughing but when grades come in and both Newt and Alby have straight A’s and a hot boyfriend, guess who gets the last laugh?
