things that I think would happen in a modern au Thominally household

Gally regularly insists on bench-pressing Minho to test out his strength (Thomas has attempted to offer in the past and has gotten rejected because he's too light)

Minho makes protein shakes exactly the way Gally likes it and hands it to Gally like "Fucked up on my shake. You can have it if you want."

plant dad Thomas names plants after Gally and Minho (HoHo, Gallious, Ginho, etc.). When the plants die, Thomas becomes extremely cuddly towards Gally and Minho because what if they die too

Gally is extremely ticklish and regularly has to 1v2 in tickle fights against Thomas (not ticklish) and Minho (only ticklish to light touches?? he's weird like that)

Thomas can pick Minho up and regularly does. Minho goes abnormally quiet whenever it happens. What Thomas can't/doesn't see is the bright red blush on Minho's cheeks every time

Gally is the designated driver

Nobody can read Thomas' handwriting. It's actually impressive how bad it is

Gally does woodworking in his spare time and doodles blueprints in his spare time (and during dinners at restaurants where the food takes a long time and they have crayons and napkins). He also doodles Thomas and Minho in the margins and hastily has to erase/hide them whenever Thomas or Minho enter the garage

Minho is the lightest drinker and Thomas is the heaviest. Gally doesn't drink.

Gally is a huge coffee hobbyist and his least favorite person in the whole wide world is Thomas because if he leaves out coffee beans unattended for one second, Thomas will fucking eat them. Why the fuck would Thomas think they were a snack???? (They are, admittedly, delicious, and Gally has started snacking on them too.)

They have two hamsters because Gally has a strict no-dogs, no-cats rule (that is definitely going to be overturned some day by Thomas & Minho, but whatevs) and Thomas writes them little stories in his spare time to read out loud to them.

Whenever Minho gets drunk, he texts Thomas and Gally bullshit like "Why do you still love me" and then gets uppercut with the combined power of Thomally love (aka snuggles, cuddles, kisses, hot chocolate, thick blanket)

Gally sucks the powder off sour gummy worms but wont' eat the gummy. Minho is fucking appalled. Thomas eats the rest of the gummy. Minho is even more appalled (but can understand. Slightly.)

Thomas and Minho definitely make the most out-of-the-blue, most crass jokes ever. Gally spits out toothpaste into the sink? "God I wish I was that sink." "God I wish I was that toothpaste." They never stop. Gally can feel himself losing years off his life every time.

This post is completely about my personal opinions, if you don’t like it, please just ignore it!

Newtmas

Well if you ever checked my blog you should know that Newtmas is my favorite ship. I loved this ship since the first time I watched the movies. There was always some sort of special connection between Thomas and Newt, not this type of “best friends”connection, but lovers connection. The way they were always needing each other, trusting each others words and opinions. Newt was always looking for Thomas, watching him, having his back, and Thomas was always thinking of Newt before anyone else (Example: “Newt and the others”). Considering Newt is confirmed gay, it’s just makes sense if he was in love with Thomas.

Minewt

I always saw them as soulmates, but in a friend way. I see them more as best friends than lovers, but I won’t deny that they also have a super strong connection like Newtmas, and I like reading fanfics of them from time to time. I don’t hate it, and I kind of like it, just not my favorite!

Thominewt

I like this ship, I feel like they complement each other, but I always kind of see the duo in the trio (newtmas), and because of that I can’t fully enjoy the ship.

Thomesa

Im sorry to anyone who likes this ship, but is a huge no for me. I see them more as siblings than lovers due to their type of relationship before Thomas lost his memories. It feels really forced, like Thomas saw Teresa recognized him, and since she was a girl they just assumed they were lovers in the past. Apart from that, Teresa in the books made Thomas suffer a lot of things he didn’t deserve, and she deserved to lose Thomas love.

Trenda

I mean, they are end game in the books, and they have an special connection. They look cute as a couple, but at the same time I see them as best friends or even siblings (in the movies, Brenda says something like “you remind me to my little brother” to Thomas, which kind of confuses me since I don’t think you would see someone you like as your brother) still, I think it’s obviously not a bad ship, and it’s canon.

Thominho

It’s a cute ship for me, their personalities are completely opposite, so I feel like they are a good match. I don’t have a lot to say to this ship, it’s not my favorite, but I like it and the quotes they have in the book are actually appealing.

Thominally

For some reason, I really like this ship. I don’t have any explanation to it, I read things of them and I just like it. It’s a weird ship? To me, yes. I like it? Absolutely. But, I don’t like Thomally, I just like the ship if Minho is in it too.

Minally

Yes. Absolutely. Totally. I love them.

Nalby

For me, Newt was totally in love with Alby before Thomas arrival (and well maybe Albys death yk). Fanfics of them before Thomas arrival in the glade i find them cute and entertaining. After Thomas arrival I just don’t see it anymore.

Brenderesa

If we are talking about canon-compliant, it’s an absolute nonsense. They hated each other and there’s no possible way they would have actually liked each other if Teresa somehow survived. But if we are not talking about canon-compliant, I totally love it.

Sonya/Harriet

They were utterly in love, nothing more to add.

Minho/Brenda

Well, they kind of have similar personalities, yes I kinda see it.

Minho/Ben

I don’t dislike it, I just think that we had little to nothing about Ben, and I don’t really know where we get the ship from. Apart from that, I saw it in a couple of fanfics and yes I like it when it’s like a secondary couple.

I don’t know if I forgot one, but this are the ones that I have seen. @wildbwills also did one so you can go check theirs also!
