The Sawgrass Nature Center is home to an aviary of recovering and permanent winged residents. This blue jay is one of the many that are to be soon as you walk through the surrounding enclosure.

I had the pleasure of viewing a very unique bird these past few weeks. The bluejays are a regular at my feeder and one of them (the one on the far right of the pic) I noticed had a broken top beak.

I know I'm a photography blog and I should be posting at least decent quality photos, but this is all I could capture of the jay before he flew off.

I tried to make up for it with the drawing above, I hope you all love him as much as I do.

(also I am open to any name suggestions if he should return)
