9. What scene was the hardest to write for you and why?

Of my current published works, probably the ending of ‘it takes one to know one (and i’d like to get to know one)’ simply because i had no idea how to push the plot forward to where i needed. then a friend recommended i try changing the weather, and woah, the story got written! (thanks for that again).

10. What scene was the most fun to write for you and why?

The first one that comes to mind is shinsou clearing up the misunderstanding in ‘keep my heart locked watertight’ or when shinsou is teasing midoriya about hitting him with a ladder xD. Just little hilarious interactions, characters teasing each other, small moments like that like that.

27. Do you have playlists for your wip? What are some of the songs in it? youuuuuu. knoowwwww. meeeeeee. 

[cracks knuckles]. okay. there are currently 4 (FOUR!!!) different playlists for ‘better to leave this unsaid’:

btliu: the OG playlist. the one that sailed a thousand ships. originally this was to be filled with the songs of each chapter, but now its just filled with songs that remind of me the story overall

btliu chap 3: this playlist was made with the description “WHY AM I STUCK?” because at this point, i had no idea how to write chapter 3 after various rewrites. thus, this playlist was made to inspire me to write. did it work? eh..... btliu c4: the playlist for chapter 4. currently still under construction (just like that chapter...)

(；¬＿¬): this playlist is from shinsou’s perspective after the revelation of chapter 2. i love this playlist. lots of summer bangers. thank you for sending this jay!!!!

I LOVE that image youve created its so ACCURATE and its hilarious bc they’re such a juxaposition of what it feels like to have a crush

Midoriya is like “woah...oh WOW” and (灬♥ω♥灬) ♡(ŐωŐ人) and staring at someone with a small smile on your face when they aren’t looking

Shinsou is like “why...who the fuck authorized this” and feeling embarrassed whenever you find yourself wanting to look at them but you do it anyway

It was awesome to see the notification on my end!  And omg yess ffn...literally my gateway to fanfiction and online culture basically. i was definitely way too young to be on there but i was like >:3c. hi!! thought i'd pop over from ao3 (aah_bluejay there) to say a quick hello! i love your writing (as i'm sure you already know) but after taking a quick look through your blog i just wanna say... the amount of shinsou. amazing. i'll never have to follow another blog for shinsou content ever again, i love it. but since this is technically an ask, a question if you're willing to answer! so! when'd you start writing? where do your ideas come from? (i apologize if you get this twice, tumblr bugged)

Thank you for all your lovely comments on my fics! I really love them and reread them at times bc they’re so sweet and detailed! It’s really motivating and heartwarming to get such feedback on your works, and I mean it everytime I thank someone for reading and commenting!

I started writing when I was around 10 or 11! I was googling percy jackson stuff and ended up on Fanfiction . net (god...so long ago) and read a bunch of stories and decided I wanted to write. Ever since then, I’ve jumped between fanfiction and original fiction a lot, won second place in a middle school writing contest, submitted pieces for my college literary magazine, and just this year got back into writing fanfiction and putting it online. A lot has happened!! My ideas usually come from the music I listen to. I usually try to find a song and get inspired by it story-wise or atmosphere-wise. Hence why I usually title stories after song lyrics or create playlists for stories when I’m writing. I’ll also just come up with random ideas during the day (like at work) and hastily scribble them down on my phone to review later.  <3
