Here’s one I was hoping to do for a while. If you’re familiar with the Jurassic World films, you probably know a Velociraptor named Blue is heavily featured in both films. Well, I’m not happy with how LEGO has designed their take on the character, and while the updated version used for JW: Fallen Kingdom does look better, it still doesn’t have any hint of grey that the actual character has. I’m not sure why LEGO insisted on making her look more green, but I’m assuming it was because they wanted her to look more appealing as a toy. Regardless, I decided to take matters into my own hands, and have given Blue a more film-accurate appearance by repainting her a dark grey, save for the stripe where she got her name from. She looks much more faithful to the film, and I’m hoping I can try more dinosaur customs later, but for now, I don’t have any ideas at the moment.
