when I started shipping it if I did: in all honesty I’m not really sure? I just loved their cute banter in ToG and I thought they had good chemistry so it was pretty instant for me

my thoughts: they’re just so perfect for each other???? they have so much in common and a similar sense of humor but even beyond that, they reach each other on an emotional level I don’t think anyone else could ever understand because 1. they both are burdened by magic 2. they both have lost people they loved at the hands of terrible people in their lives as a means of punishing/controlling them 3. now they both will know what it’s like to be imprisoned 4. they both know what it’s like to be lonely and feel like no one else understands (both then they meet each other and suddenly aren’t so lonely anymore). honestly I just don’t get why this ship is as underrated as it is

What makes me happy about them: dorian was the first person aelin smiled with after nehemia was murdered (✿◠‿◠)  aelin is coming back for dorian (｡◕‿◕｡)

What makes me sad about them: the end of heir of fire....(✖╭╮✖)

things done in fanfic that annoys me: I don’t read fanfic 

things I look for in fanfic: y’all should rec me dorian/aelin fanfic if it exists 

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: no one

My happily ever after for them: slaying the King of Adarlan’s ass together and then they both take on their respective thrones but are still together and possibly even ruling beside each other 

who is the big spoon/little spoon: dorian is big spoon most of the time but aelin can also be big spoon occasionally 

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: READING  (｡♥‿♥｡) PLAYING WITH FLEETFOOT’S PUPPIES (when she has them) (｡♥‿♥｡)

hey! I was checking the tags on that dorian x aelin edit and I saw your question on the middle red part and considering I made it I thought I'd give you the tip!! If you're using PS, south from the layers tab, right next to the 'add a vector mask' option, there's the 'create new fill or adjustment layer', so choose the solid color option. fpick a color (dark is best), put it in multiply mode and personalize the opacity to your liking. at least, that's how i do it! have a nice day!
