*hugs* Hope you can get some rest. And that the doctor can help a bit. Sounds like a good weekend!
Yep, spare bedroom was a little better last night. And hopefully she'll find something this time. I'm going to be a bit more demanding I think with the tests. And we're hitting a few markets on the weekend and a Diwali festival, should be nice!

I’m sorry to hear you’re dealing with anxiety and exhaustion. Hopefully your doctor will find a concrete reason for the exhaustion finally. I had to deal with similar sexism working a tech-related job, they always wanted to speak to the manager
I hope so. I don't like to talk to much about it, as it's still hard for me to get my head around and I have thoughts I shouldn't. Sometimes I force it out to feel better, sometimes it comes out on its own. But I'd love to find something that could at least lessen it. Yeah, the sexism is frustrating; sometimes it's hate on their part, sometimes confusion, sometimes surprise. Before working in engineering I worked in an electronics store, and that was just as bad. Customers often want men to answer their technical questions, not women. Even when we knew more than they did. Capactiors, transistors and resistors? Our most knowledgable person was a lovely blond woman who modelled part-time. She had a VERY hard time getting people to take her seriously, unfortunately.

Have fun <3 the kind of behaviour they’re giving you is very condescending, though sometimes I just hope if it’s because they don’t know how to act around a woman. Take care, hun!
Thanks! Looking forward to the concert. That piece can really move me emotionally. You're right, sometimes I think they don't know how to act - some are rude, but sometimes you can tell they're surprised or even nervous. We met one foreman on site - my coworker talked to him, he swore every other word apparently - but when I approached, he tried to stop swearing and struggled. It was amusing, but he did it out of respect and that was nice that he was trying. The guys today - one didn't bat an eyelash, the second that I directly worked with seemed surprised. He was asking me what sort of work I do, asking if I did the physical stuff like the guys did. I told him he did, and he seemed to be surprised but thought it was cool. :) So that was good to see, quite a relief actually, since I have to go back sans male coworker next week and direct them.
So yes....Friday afternoon and things are chugging along nicely. Work finishes in 4 hours but I might depart in 3 to prepare for the concert...yay.
