Elephants come down to the lake from the adjoining forests. Built in the 1960s Anayirankal dam is one of the largest earthen dams. It is located 26 km from Munnar. It is surrounded by tea estates in different levels and you have to go through lush thick forest on both sides of the road. I’m just coming here to inform y’all cause apparently y’all didn’t know

So rumor has it people think that mountains are grey??? And not blue??? And I just feel like that’s super disheartening. Mountains are beautiful and unique and I just want to keep y’all in the loop about mother nature since who knows how much longer we’ll have her.

My first bit of proof.... google. If you google blue mountain, you’ll get tons of results- over two billion. Everyone knows that because of copyright, identical articles are taken down. Clearly there are over two billion blue mountains. That’s just facts kids. 

Now you may be saying, what about the resort, blue mountain? Again, this only accounts for a single result as there is only one blue mountain resort. All other copy resorts have been taking down due to copyright issues.

Wow... Blue like the ocean.

Even the night sky can’t stop the blue from shining through.

I will agree that this mountain has some purple undertones, but she is still a magnificent shade of not grey.

Just.... wow. She’s everything.

Please think of the beautiful babies next time you tell someone a mountain is grey... it’s not fair to shame them of their colour like that.

I leave you with her. Please, from now on, respect nature and ensure that everyone knows mountains are blue. There are so many different factors at play to make these natural beauties what they are, and treating them with less than the respect they deserve should not be tolerated.
