hi, tag as bluetree. I'm always so distracted and tired, not motivated to work and lost the energy to care. I just don't care, even though as I type this i have really important pieces of work due tomorrow. I feel like i have no desire to go to a great uni and get a great job and live in an important city - it feels weird because this is what everyone wants and counts as success. (part 1)

bluetree p2. I don’t know why I’m that ambitious about life and school even though I should be. shouldn’t i want a high-paying job/good university etc.? I want a simpler life, but I dont have any goals, i dont know who I am and what I want. Isnt it unrealistic to think life is that easy and i can just live comfortable without it? Idk im just tired with life and just dont care anymore

Hey there, bluetree! Figuring out what you want to do in lifeis difficult. I know it has taken me a long time to figure out what I want todo. Figuring out what you want to do is really worth it. I’ll give you advicebased on my experience.

           I have some recommendations formotivation. What I think will help is doing small portions of what you need todo and make sure to give yourself breaks. Make it a goal to get what you needdone done. Once you have completed it reward yourself.

           Consider your options when it comesto the future. It is okay to want a simpler life but make sure you are able tosupport yourself. You don’t have to go to university to get a job. You can gostraight into a job, do technical school, or join the military.

           If you find yourself not caringabout life then I think you should consider making goals for yourself. You canmake small goals, they don’t have to be big. Just make a goal that you can strivefor. Once you have completed it, reward yourself and make a new goal. It willbecome easier to want to do things once you make it a habit.
