CU Hercules AU

I can’t believe I actually drew these-

As you can see, Captain Underpants is Hercules, Edith is Meg, George and Harold are both satyrs like Phil, and Melvin is Hermes.

Other characters I’ve thought of are:

Big Daddy Longjohns and Princess Pantyhose as Zeus and Hera

Blunderpants as Hades and Evil!George as his lackey Panic and Evil!Harold as his lackey Pain

Crackers as Pegasus

Bernice and John Krupp as Herc’s Earth parents (Jasper, Kipper, and Liz would also be there, gotta have the whole fam :3)

Random monsters from the show as the Titans (Salamangler is the one Hades sends after Herc; aka the cyclops)

Those are all the ones I’ve thought of; I can’t think of who should be the others like the Fates, the Muses.

Also a little more info regarding number 4: John is alive and Bernice is nice in this AU. Also, @tornrose24, I thought that after finding baby Cap and adopting him, they named him Benjamin; so up until the point where he’s told he’s adopted, it’s a little bit like your Secret Superhero AU! Sorta.

Hi, boys! Have you ever tried writing versions of yourselves into your comics before?

Oh! If you mean, like comic versions of us, of course! We usually introduce ourselves in our comics.

However….If you mean drawing ourselves as the baddy against Captain Underpants…

I’ll be honest, we considered it for a bit. However, there’s a chance something might happen to make our book happen sort of. We’re not sure if it’s coincidence or something but…

We already know what we’d be like as baddies. We’re not going to risk a repeat of that, coincidence or not.

At first blunder dislikes ppu Krupp but he does grow to care about him a lot more than he'll admit..

I feel like we need to talk about ppu egg casserole more.

It's an interesting dynamic or it could be.

Like I see Ppu Edith being the assertive one but she is very awkward and doesn't know how to really befriend people since her assertiveness/ sometimes brashness is partially a Front for ' fake it till you make it/ I want people to be nice to me but I don't know how to do it back' (?)

Ppu Krupp is also A ' fake it till you make it' stepford smiler person. He's married to his job and his outward appearance is everything because he's just thrown everything into his job and his people pleaser attitude is partially because of the whole guilt over not standing up for Jasper. So he thinks if he Does Enough Good he can get rid of the feeling.

He does genuinely enjoy Edith's company and wants to spend more of it but he's got these invisible walls he's set up for himself. He knows he's not all sunshine and rainbows and he's afraid of people finding out.

Edith likes Krupp but there's an uncanny valley to his demeanor/ smile that keeps her just at arms length. She can tell there's someone there but it's just wrapped behind so much ' tape' that she can't make out who it is really. Plus ppu krupp is a bit on the Holding back side.

Blunderpants is that energy and passion that ppu krupp is missing. He doesn't hold back on what he thinks or does. He's so very Alive. Ppu Edith loves that. He loves that ppu Edith can match his energy/ attitude/ personality.

Thinking about the fact that ppu Bernice keeps In touch with and is one of the few reasons the Krupp Bros still keep in contact.

Thinking about how she has or is entirely capable of seeing and scolding Blunder but also telling him that he's her son too and she loves him just as much even if she disagrees with his actions.

Blunder not knowing what to do with that information.
