“ ---- i don’t think you understand that watching all this violence against androids actually greatly upsets chloe. she does a very good job hiding it. humans are very susceptible to their emotions, from what i’ve gathered. “

He should’ve gotten pastels. Connor, kissed by the waning sun at dusk, seems to stand there fostering those values of noon. His hair’s rich, colored like earth after spitting rain, and distantly, summer’s turning tinges the looming maples. A leaf finds those shoulders, and its gold beckons mightily... However, Markus fails to capture it; he’s only charcoal stubs to work with, after all. “Wish I had blue,” he lazily mourns with a lolling lilt of his head. Connor’s LED is echoing the sky, yet this drawing of him captures only blacks and greys.
@blveled, palette: warm like deep earth.
blveled replied to your post:
k but everyone’s fave is phantom of the opera bc poto is perfect
yeah I KNOW BUT LISTEN I GAVE THAT ONE BEING HIS FAVORITE A LOT OF THOUGHT --
For one, he’d be intimately familiar with the original book, and while the musical doesn’t have a lot in common with novel -- hannibal would relate to Erik in a very subtle way. The notion that no one can RELATE to him,,, lets face it hannibal and the phantoms similarities are pretty obvious. The difference is literally that Erik’s deformity is physical, and hannibals is internal.
Smooch @blveled
Worried eyes searched for a negative reaction, hands suspended in the air. Tension ran through his body, causing him to awkwardly pause. Perhaps he should have been more tentative, or more careful. His lips parted to spout a concerned apology. Ready to correct the mistake. To try again.
He paused when Connor’s fingers slid over his dirty cheek. Eyes widened, jaw slackening from the shock. Ralph was searching for something in Connor’s gaze, though it wasn’t what he was looking for. Thankfully so. It was a smile instead, warming his insides with such a sweet feeling. A flutter within his chest, in the form of his thirium pump skipping a beat.
“Did you like it?” The question held excitement, mixing in with softness as Ralph relaxed into the touch. A blue hue leaked into his good cheek, glowing lightly beneath Connor’s palm. He grabbed his wrist and turned his hand, eye settled upon Connor as his lips brushed over the fingers that had been touching his cheek. “Ralph can kiss Connor some more, if he wants to be kissed.”

the response the pharaoh received was merely a long, distant glance. disinterested eyes regarded him for longer than it seemed comfortable. but there was no confusion in them. nothing that might appear like an emotion, the android yet too deeply rooted into his programming to have such notions. ❛ no. ❜ & it sounded final.
connor did not have time for this either way. he had come to this museum to investigate. there had been claims of people seeing androids walking through these halls, none of that was known to cyberlife. if there were deviants around, connor would find them. ( a hiding place for jericho ? possible ! ) but so far, only the museums’ very own models had breached his eyes, those either deactivated or created for educational purposes. by day, nothing had appeared out of the ordinary. & when night had fallen ( he had been supposed to be long gone, why he had stuck around was a puzzle to him as well. almost like he did not trust the silence. ) nothing had disturbed the ordinary. almost. there had been a feeling of the museum holding its breath & while it made no sense to connor, it was a thought he could not shake off. then this clown ( who had, according to his scans, died centuries ago. clearly he malfunctioned. ) had approached him & now they were ——— here.
❛ now it would be much appreciated if you were to answer my questions. have you noticed any not ordinary android behavior ?. ❜
Concision isn’t always appreciated.
The pharaoh stares back, unable to perceive a threat in the visitor that edges near. “I am familiar with androids,” his fingers brush with one another in a soft clap. The detachment of his guest is soon forgotten, and a meek smile begins to form. It’s been many a moon since someone has approached him with a question.
“They are the gods of the new world.” The surviving exhibits of years past appreciate these deities. While they do not worship them as people do today, they are marveled. “They are crucial to people today, and they bestow their knowledge to whomever is willing to listen.” The simper begins to fall, and bewilderment creeps across the lingering stare. “I haven’t witnessed anything unordinary in the androids that dwell here.”
“You must pardon my curiosity. I would like to know what brings you to ask in the first place.” if there is something wrong with his people, he intends to understand.
@blveled liked for a canon dialogue starter.
“They survived whatever happened here but nobody’s home.”
