BMW 2002 Baur-Cabrio (1971–1975) commonly known as Targa although the right to that name lies solely with Porsche. This is one of the last conversions of the E10 2002 series built in 1975 by the Stuttgart coachbuilder Baur known for high quality.

BMW 1600-2: 1.6-liter (1,574 cc), single carbureted (Solex 36-40 PDSI) four-cylinder M10 engine with 85 hp (63 kW) @ 5,500 rpm, 96 ft·lb (130 Nm) of torque @ 3,500 rpm, 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 12.5 seconds with a top speed of 99 mph (159 km/h). Standing quarter mile in 18.4 seconds. Produced between 1966 and 1971. Exact production numbers are unknown. Brand new cost: $2,676.
