Lilla - Matoran Form
The Toa Otoka The Toa Otoka were the second Toa Team to be formed on Okoto Nui. They were formed in response to Matoran going missing along side sightings of strange, never before seen Rahi.
Each of the members of this team knew each other prior to becoming Toa, having met in Metru Nui before the Reformation. Though they bicker at times, they work together fairly well as a team. Emana Toa of Psionics and a former Scholar and Archaeologist. She worked for the Grand Archives and studied the Agori Ruins found across the island. Though she wasn't much of a fighter, she was trained in fencing, training she puts to use as a Toa. She has an interest in the macabre, something she shares with Vhoke. She and Rakewii are in a relationship.
Rakewii Toa of Fire and mask maker. Rakewii lived in the hustle and bustle of Ta-Ifo working as a mask maker for a local mask shop. He has decent aim making him a perfect sharp shooter for his team. He's often jokey and rarely takes things seriously. He and Emana are in a relationship.
Rakota Toa of Lightning and village guard. Rakota can be incredibly blunt and rather impatient at times, but she cares deeply for her friends. She's closest to Melu, as both traveled together across Mata Nui before the move back to Metru Nui. She owns a pair of Sentinel Hounds.
Vhoke Toa of Plant Life and a former Rahi care taker. She worked at a rescue shelter in her village on Okoto Nui and has very extensive knowledge of Rahi. Her hands and feet had been modified, both for defense and locomotion. She has a pet Guurii.
Akale Toa of Iron and former caravan guard. Akale is the leader. He is the most outwardly mature, and his time as a caravan guard in Po-Oko gave him all the experience he needed to lead and protect others. He wields a heavy blaster, which has only become more powerful as a Toa.
Melu Toa of Air and former courier. Most of the Toa Team met each other through Melu. Even before the Great Cataclysm, he worked as courier in Metru Nui. He and Rokota met and traveled together on Mata Nui, and after the return to Metru Nui he met and befriended Emana and Rakewii, and would later meet Vhoke and Akale on Okoto Nui. He's not the most heroic individual, but tries his best to be useful for his team.
Though they aren't part of the Toa Team, there are several other Matoran tied to this team that try to help them in their efforts to find the source of these strange Rahi and why they are kidnapping Matoran.

Feeding a town like Meki-Koro is no small task. Thankfully, there are more than enough helping hands in the islands gardens and fields.

Tunnel Bear
These bear-like Rahi are given their name due to their tendency to dig underground tunnels with their claws. Their tunnel-digging habits are often considered a disadvantage to the Matoran and the overall environment because they dig holes big enough to fit themselves in (and these bears are HUGE, coming to be slightly larger than a Toa). In most regions, Matoran will fill and shut the tunnel holes closed, but Bo-Matoran forbid it in their region, seeing the Bear’s tunnel holes as a natural occurrence that must remain untouched.
Tunnel Bears dig deep, large holes to look for and feed on insects, worms, lizards, and small mammals like rodents. They also create tunnel systems so they can hibernate in the winter.
Their habit of creating tunnels underground once caused clueless Matoran to find it a mystery as to how Tunnel Bears kept showing up in their villages out of nowhere, but those incidents of Tunnel Bears “appearing from nowhere” occurred before Matoran biologists studied their behavior.
(I know image 6 is a picture of the Bear’s paw, I just felt like showing it off)
Tunnel Bears commonly reside in the forests of Bo-Wari, but have been populating Onu-Wari ever since they discovered said place while digging tunnels. Some have also populated a region that is hardly occupied by the Matoran called the Rural-Urban Pass (will evaluate later, it’s basically a transition road from the Rural regions to the Urban regions of Zakara).
Conservation Status: Least Concern

Secret Garden
Headcanon that Bo-Matoran grow far more than food gardens and forests. Each has dozens of smaller gardens for plant breeding and competition. Mutran and Chirox have nothing on the one-upping contests Bo-Matoran neighbors have on creating new and ever more spectacular flower varieties. They also have elaborate show gardens with a garden council judging them each year in an annual competition. Sabotage is rare and considered in extremely poor taste, but competitors frequently have spats or hold long grudges over the results of competitions and argue often over which has the best variety.
Most prized of all are the tiny fairy gardens each Bo-Matoran keeps. All are hidden well away from the villages and finding one is considered extremely good luck by all other Matoran tribes. Those lucky enough to find them take a small plant or ornament, which are said to hold the power to make gardens they are placed in grow well. But a Matoran must leave a new trinket or plant in it’s place or risk being cursed with bad harvests.

Originating from a completely different island in the blue sea of Aqua Magna, this larger and heftier model of an ancient rahi is a dependable livestock, much beloved by the farmers of Meki-Nui.
