i made a historic pattern for a larp! i didnt bother to fix the mistakes and they kinda look like ai generated image mistakes and i think that's hilarious.

i sort of used this ^ pattern, but with two more pattern cards with an empty hole each (rather than the red) + two border cards. the pattern cards all had identical threads on them, so i could just do a continuous warp. i did try to calculate card rotation to have them all line up but i did not succeed. ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

I am reblogging this post for the purposes of presenting my work for a class project. 

I spent 8 years working on board and frame looms. I chose this scarf because it was the first one I ever made on a board loom. This scarf was made using a piece of wood, some nails, and a metal kitchen skewer that I bent at the top to create a needle eye.  This was the beginning and to this day it is still very representational of my work.
