Blood (Crash)

Summary: Bobby has a bad dream.

Bobby screamed as he was thrown out of the car and into the air.

Terry yelled his son’s name even as he tried to get free of the car.

Bobby screamed again as the car blew and his father was gone.

Snapping awake Bobby finished his scream as his bedroom door opened. He looked up and let out a sob as Terry came running in and hugged him.

“Bad dream love?” Donna followed her husband and ran a hand through her son’s hair.

“Daddy didn't get free and he got blown up,” Bobby sniffled, “I saw it even as I bleed out.”

“I’m fine sweetheart. We both are. Yes, there was blood but your mom, aunts, and uncles got to us in time.” Terry soothed Bobby.

“Come,” Donna stood and motioned to her husband and son, “Let’s go back to bed. You can sleep with us the rest of tonight.”

Bobby nodded and let his dad pick him up and take him to his parents room.

The trio fell asleep, Bobby clinging to his parents tightly.

Three bodies were discovered not far from a charred car.

All three, two adults and a child, died from injuries sustained in the crash.
