Look, I'm mad that they turned two Boba Fett episodes into the Din Show for all the obvious reasons. But also because there are people out here saying that Din's eps were the best eps of the whole show.

Honey, that just means you don't actually want to watch this show. You want S3 of the Mandalorian!

And the creators are going to take that as "no one wants to watch a day-in-the-life consolidation of power because it's boring or needs more jedi or marketable baby creatures."

Like, obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I wish the day-in-the-life portion had been stronger, but like ...

"Why make a series cohesive when you can saddle it with two backdoor pilots ... FOR A SHOW THAT ALREADY HAS TWO SEASONS"

Just ... how are they going to pull off Maul if they can't even pull off Boba Fett retiring from doing murder-for-hire without throwing a Hail Grogu at the end?

Ok, I am glad that Grogu apparently told Luke to screw himself with that lightsaber, but I’m still mad that Luke gave the ultimatum in the first place.

We can argue attachment and ooc-ness all day, but the point I want to explore in this post is:

Did we really need yet another cautionary story about attachment?

Why are we trodding the same ground as Anakin’s betrayal and Ben Solo’s betrayal? Luke literally has no room to grow as a teacher, because the sequels have locked his character arc into the hot mess that created Kylo Ren.

I mean, the sequels have locked the entire galaxy into a redux for the literal rest of Luke’s life! I’m so mad

Honestly, keeping the sequels in the continuity is destroying the development of all of the characters in the interim! We should just chuck them out, like they tried to do to the EU!
