Watching Bridgerton 4.2 and some of the directing choices are sending me. The really weird close-up of Benedict's eyes and then his mouth. I know what they were trying to do, but somehow the vibe did not work for me. It felt so awkward.

So I’m rewatching all of DBZ and like Goku was alive for straight up, 4 and a half episodes. Then RIP.

narnia movies rated by how hard i was crushing on prince caspian as a teenager

the lion the witch and the wardrobe: ben barnes isn't even in this movie 0/10

prince caspian: perfect movie 10/10

the the voyage of the dawn treader: idk caspian is hotter but also less? they removed his accent and the personality is a bit bland. he's still in the movie though so 8/10

wow! I wasn’t expecting the new Mulan (live action) film to be such a dumpster fire. It’s like they looked at the 1998 animated film and thought to themselves:

How can we strip this of all of its charm and character, but still make millions on nostalgia.

Even the cinematography is pretty sketchy at times and the lead actress only seems to have one facial expression. 

Also her having magical abilities totally takes away from the bad-assness that was Mulan in the animated film, who didn’t need magic to prove that she was just as good as the men. Which is aspirational and achievable, inherited magical abilities no so much.
