Bochnia Salt Mine is a historic mine located in the town of Bochnia, southern Poland. 

According to historical sources, Bochnia is the oldest of salt mines founded in Poland, and one of the oldest salt mine of this type in the world. Rock salt was mined there continuously from the Middle Ages until the 20th century. Nowadays it is a treasured historic site included in the UNESCO world heritage list. A range of touristic and historic routes are available to visit, as well as a modern spa centre and a health resort. The undergroud routes go through original raw narrow corridors and galleries, and the various sections of the main go through a labirynth of caves connected by long ladders or water canals. Bochnia is located around 30 kilometers to the east from the famous salt mine in Wieliczka.
