The thing is that law and legal morality are up to the jurisdiction of those that have been voted into power. To those who argue that the law says abortion is morally correct so it has to be are then subjected to the fact that the law once said that African Americans were 3/5ths a person; i dont see too many people today that still agree with that. Laws the the legal system are flawed and are completely up to opinion. Just as emotionalism isn't a solid backing for an argument, neither is just a legal standing. Science is the only true, inarguable basis for a debate for abortion or for most controversial subjects. Which is why you'll never hear me arguing emotionalism against bodily autonomy because in reality, it has no standing.
