PAUL LORENZ 03-10-18 #1-b Body as Landscape
digital photograph, variable size
“Not everything hidden wants to be revealed. Some things just want to be witnessed, gently.”

Folded Silence
The body turns inward, listening to itself. Bone, skin, and breath gather in a quiet curve, as if the world outside has momentarily softened its grip. A reflection hovers close— not a mirror of the self, but a reminder that presence is never singular.
Stillness becomes a language spoken only in shadow and light.
Photo: Thomas Gerwers
The body becomes landscape, a quiet horizon unfolding in silence.
Light drifts across her like a thought the world forgot to finish— curves rising, falling, a soft geometry carved from breath.
No beginning, no end, just the slow unfolding of something that remembers how to be both fragile and unbreakable.

Light fractures. Skin becomes geometry. Water redraws the body with every movement.
Instinct, Folded Inward
She stands where shadow tightens its grip, arms crossed not to hide, but to listen. The body remembers what language forgets: the quiet weight of instinct, the tenderness of restraint, the animal patience of becoming.
Antlers curve like thoughts that never fully leave the mind — present, hovering, protective. Not a pose, but a pause. Not surrender, but concentration. A moment where strength turns inward and waits.
