This may just be me pushing my weird story preferences onto a story I kinda like BUT
Lily Lovebraids' section, and Poppy Playtime Chapter Five in general, could have been a bit longer.
MOB Games said, I believe, that the player character has went through this ENTIRE game, with NO BREAKS and NO SLEEP other than whenever we get knocked out by the poppy gas or other things.
SO, my idea,
What if, Lily Lovebraids, after kidnapping the player, just traps them in her house. She gives the player their own room that they can't escape from. Each “day” (actual days for them, just a fade transition for us), Lily will wake the player up and have them do a few chores around the manor. The chores would be simple stuff like sweeping the floor or preparing food. There could even be a fun and dark scene where the player prepares a dead Kickin’ Chicken to eat. It’s all just meat anyway, and all the real food ran out long ago.
Lily drags the player character into a routine. If the player tries to resist, Lily doesn't kill them, but instead she will take away their grab pack and make them do more chores, some of which would be impossible without a grab pack. The player of course does not like this routine, but the shakes on their grab pack eventually stop and they actually get to eat and drink water and SLEEP. MY GOODNESS, DOES THIS PROTAGONIST NEED SOME SLEEP.
Then! Lily drags Poppy and Kissy into the little basement cell. The player watches on in fear and worry as their friends are dragged down. Poppy calls out for help but the player, scared of Lily's abuse, doesn't do anything.
The preparations for the tea party go pretty normal, but Poppy has more questions and maybe feels a little betrayed by the player. THEN! When the tea party goes wrong, Lily calls upon the player to help her set everything right, but the player refuses and makes their escape.
Uhm, I don't know what MOB Games has planned for Lily, (hopefully her hair drags her along in a cool and macabre way) but I don't know what would happen with this addition.
