I recently watched both the movie and the show to Boiling Point.
The most raw, emotional, and just so real thing i've ever watched. I wish it got more traction, i can't believe i'm the only one posting in this tag for months.
I'm so upset for a lack of s2, it was truly such a good performance, from all the actors. How it depicts mental health, drug abuse, self harm and suicidal ideations, the struggle of money and isolation, literal chefs kiss, pun not intended.
Jamie's and Emily's actors' performance especially was so heart breaking. The entire cast is truly so talented, so realistic, i love how it shows that people are human. There's no ultimate good or bad, everyone has their flaws and their faults, everyone has their own lives and emotions and nothing is black or white.
It's the kind of show/movie that makes you forget it's fake, which is something I rarely see. Now I'm no movie critic, but I highly recommend you watch it. If you do, the movie takes place before the show, and it's on Tubi. Probably somewhere else too, but that's where I watched it.
