I tried drawing a character from India.

Hi! I’m aiming to become a borderless artist, and I enjoy challenging myself to draw characters from many different countries.

This time, I tried drawing a character from India.

My art style is naturally pop and cute, so that quality came through strongly in this piece. In the future, I’d love to explore even more ways to express different kinds of attractiveness within my own style.

The pose doesn’t have a specific meaning, but I was inspired by Bollywood and wanted to draw an Indian man dancing.

I’ve drawn characters from American, European, and African backgrounds before, but this is my very first time drawing a character from India. It’s a new challenge for me, and I see a lot of room to grow.

If you’re familiar with India or know any Bollywood actors you admire, I’d be happy to hear your recommendations.

I’m looking forward to drawing Indian characters again. They’ll probably stay in my anime-influenced style—and that’s part of my artistic voice!

This is my second attempt!

This time, I drew a character from India. In my previous piece, my own art style made the illustration feel a bit more pop and cute, so for this one, I tried to focus more on a cool and calm vibe.

I personally enjoy Bollywood dance scenes, but sometimes it’s difficult to find the names of specific actors through Japanese internet searches. I wanted to look at more references, but it wasn’t always easy to find what I was looking for.

However, I received some kind encouragement from @zarastrawberry, and that motivated me to try drawing a character from India once again.
