. Irrfan Khan, irreplaceable. When I heard the news, I was completely shattered, loss of words. Because, you have given me to like movies apart from love stories. Your work is unmatched by any and you have always been one step ahead from others. I started admiring you since 2009 when I first saw Billu. A calm parent, wanting to show his kids they he knew the superstar but had a fear that he wouldn't recognise him. I have been a fan of you since then. And it's really one of my favourite of all time. I was barely 14 at that time, I was just knowing the world and adapting things as they came. Thank you and Paan Singh Tomar were amazingly crafted and you shifted from a comedian to a villain like it was so easy. Then came Life of Pi, your words along the movie were so accurate, you once said in the movie that, "I suppose, in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go. But what always hurts me the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye." And I fucking felt it. I have had lived a life that you just described in a single sentence. Yes, I have admired your work and how you have given the young generation a mindset to think differently, probably outside the box and realising that content is better than anything. And people want more than love stories, they want substance with which they can relate and act accordingly. Haider, Piku, Madaari, Hindi medium, Angrezi medium and what not. Whatever you worked on, you always showed us that hardwork is important, no matter how acute the role is.
